Dior à Saint-Tropez
Dior’s Saint-Tropez boutique first opened its doors last month at the famous rue Sibilli. With its stunning exterior design combined with a beautiful interior to match, it is a fashion venue like no other. Designed by architect Peter Marino and inspired by Avenue Montaigne’s boutique, the decoration of this place combines elements of contemporary style with those from the eighteenth century. Enhanced by shades of gray and the Toile de Jouy that covers the walls, this modern aesthetic and feminine approach reflects the heritage and elegance of the house of Dior.
Each space is organized around contemporary works by major artists: a table by Hubert Le Gall, a mirror by Laurent Chauvat, an accessorized chandelier by Verner Panton and a magnificent portrait of Christian Dior by Yan Pei Ming.
In the entrance, the multi-starred chef, Yannick Alléno set up his tearoom, the Dior of the Strings on the garden designed by landscape architect Peter Wirtz.
