Deana Shaaban’s Autumn/Winter Launch

An evening of cool breeze, twinkling lights, jazz music, much Nespresso and chocolate, lots of laughs and all around good energy, the Deana Shaaban Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection launch at Theodor’swas a night not to be missed with each guest walking away from the
evening with gift bags filled with headpieces from the collection. The evening of October 14th got to witness the launch of the Fall collection as well as the relaunching of the Deana Shaaban brand.

The idea behind the collection says the designer “is the desire to inspire individuals to see past initial glances and to challenge the subsequent judgments that they are paired wit” – to challenge the black and white mentality. The world, though it may be viewed as black and white, bares many layers. As such, this is what this new collection hopes to offer.” This collection, though black and white, offers a sophistication that is unparalleled to previous designs, every piece is composed of intertwining fabrics and patterns that illustrate the very fabric of a woman – feminine yet strong, delicate yet empowering, simple yet complicated in depth. This collection is aguided tour into the very core of every woman.

Tycho, the mastermind behind the new Deana Shaaban brand, has transformed it into a universal symbol that speaks all languages. The brand is sleek and simple, yet embodies the same sophistication that the very designs of the brand offer – the new brand design is sexy, yet strong and empowering for women across the board. Tycho wanted the brand to communicate the powerful message that the brand carries; Egyptian in origin and International in essence. The new brand is contemporary yet timeless, speaking not only to our time but future generations to come.
