Karl Lagerfeld who dedicated a show to her back in 2007 once described her as a style icon. With her beehive bouffant and retro style, Winehouse is famous for bringing vintage trends back to fashion. Recently, before her death, the musical legend was working on her AW Fred Perry-Amy Winehouse clothing line. After several weeks of speculation Fred Perry announced that it plans to release the final pair of collections designed by Amy Winehouse. Starting next month -September- you can find the AW11 Amy collection in all Fred Perry stores. The profits from the line will benefit the soon to be established Amy Winehouse foundation.
“Amy’s unique personal style is somewhat reminiscent of the brand’s old collections.” Says marketing director of the brand.
